Dr. Steven Newton

Testimonial from Lee Orrison: 

On December 28^th 2006 I was involved in a severe motorcycle accident. It happened to be the first time ever I decided to ride with no helmet on, as I thought it would be a quick trip to run to the store to fill up with gas for my ride to work the next morning. However, in a split second a car did not see me and pulled out right in front of me; immediately I slammed into the passenger side of the car. I was ejected over the car and hit the pavement where I continued to tumble until I was almost 30 yards away from the accident scene.  Once at the hospital I was informed I had broken my pelvis in 3 different locations; my left shin and right foot were also severely damaged and a whole laundry list of injuries too long to note…

I was told by my Doctors that I would not be able to even walk again for at least 4-6 months, and at least a year to where I would be able to walk and perform normal movement. I knew I was just fortunate that I lived through such a severe motorcycle accident, so I had just accepted that nothing but the long period of a year time frame I given from my Doctors would help me recover fully… This was until someone recommended I see Dr. Newton.

Only weeks after my accident I first rolled into Dr. Newton’s office; and to be honest, I was a bit skeptical of what Impact could be made from chiropractic treatment; but my skepticism was soon to be erased. After talking with Dr. Newton about what happened, he put together an amazing therapy plan. I have been to other Chiropractors in the past, and I even have a family member who is a Chiropractor; but Dr. Newton is very different. With his background and experience as a Registered Nurse prior to becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic medicine he brought a wealth of experience, knowledge, and understanding to exactly what I was going through.   

The first true sign of the effectiveness of being treated by Dr. Newton was when I was able to stop taking pain medicine and was even able to start standing and was evening taking a few steps… just six weeks after the date of the accident! As my therapy continued with Dr. Newton I’m happy and amazed to tell people that in only 3 months from the date of my accident that I was not only able to walk again, I was able to return back to work; as a commercial diver.

There is not a single doubt that without the treatment of Dr. Newton, I would not have made such a miraculous recovery. It was not only a miracle that I made it through the accident, but it was also a miracle that put me down a path to be able to receive Dr. Newton therapy. I cannot thank Dr. Newton and his excellent staff enough for making it possible to have such a fast recovery without the need to rely on pain medicine, even with such severe injuries.
